A standard front or rear phone camera can estimate visible joint positions and movement in 3D. It cannot image bones, measure bone health or detect structural disease.
MediaPipe can process images, video or a live camera stream and return 3D world coordinates.
Apple Vision supports 3D human-body pose estimation on modern iOS devices.
Move API and OpenCap show that one-phone capture can produce useful skeletal and biomechanical data.
Confidence before coaching. If the body is partly hidden, lighting is poor or the camera angle is unsuitable, Ori asks the user to reposition rather than inventing feedback.
On-device pose landmarks guide a small set of Kelly-approved exercises. Ori can count repetitions, estimate range, tempo and symmetry, and suppress feedback when confidence is low.
Selected frames or short clips can be securely processed by a validated higher-fidelity model and presented to a clinician alongside the user's longitudinal Ori context.
Feasibility is established: Apple Vision provides a strong route to private, low-latency movement guidance, while services such as Move and research platforms such as OpenCap demonstrate higher-fidelity single-camera assessment. Exact integration, validation and decision logic form part of the protected solution design.
Ren turns consented day-to-day signals into a concise draft for review. It preserves the patient's words, shows its working and never silently writes to a clinical record.

Anna completed three of four guided sessions. Energy was lowest on Thursday following treatment and returned towards her recent baseline by Saturday. She mentioned new shoulder tightness on two check-ins and would like to discuss whether her current movement plan remains appropriate.

Ren is a proprietary adaptive-companion harness. Ori can evaluate the patient experience, clinical value and integration boundary without disclosure of Ren's internal methods.
Kelly's voice, approved content, cancer pathways, clinical relationships and product identity stay recognisably Ori.
The harness enables continuity, guided interaction and useful context through an agreed interface. Its internal architecture remains undisclosed.
Ori and its clinical partners define approved content, intended use, escalation boundaries, evidence and review responsibilities.
This outcome-led concept is for partner evaluation only. Ren and its underlying methods remain proprietary; any pilot or integration would sit under written confidentiality, background-IP, data-rights and commercial terms. Ori's content and clinical assets remain separately owned and controlled.
Ori's current NHS page describes the platform as not a medical device, while the public Android listing says it does not monitor health or provide personalised rehabilitation. Longitudinal health monitoring and adaptive guidance change that boundary and need a deliberate pathway.
